The nose opens with stewed summer fruits, malted barley, dark chocolate and caramelised sugar. The palate is sweetly spiced with a thick mouth-feel, juicy raisins, dark fruits and gentle smoke. A really long finish - peppery fused with rich chocolate with a dried fruits character.
This single cask whisky was matured in a Sherry butt, cask number DL10297 and is one of only 288 bottles drawn from that cask."
