Claude, the eldest, and Alain and Yves, the twins, took over the family business in 1981 and have expanded it gradually ever since, with the addition of new properties as well as major improvements and modernizations in the winery, allowing them to make wine that is the very model of contemporary Côtes du Rhône wine. Situated south of the department of Drôme, the vineyard now comprises of 40 hectares.
The three brothers follow in the traditional family methods of vinification, focusing on flavour extraction, body and structure. The winery now sees stainless steel technology to create wines in a fresh, modern style. The resulting wine is estate-bottled.
Rich red berries aromas alongside characters of smoky game and a gentle hint of mushroom. Brilliant depth of flavour with bright red fruit on the palate, green capsicum and a spicy tone. A savoury note on the finish in a medium-bodied style.
